Opportunities for Ministry

 

CRAFTY LADIES: After the Snowflake Festival, the Crafty Ladies will
continue to meet on Mondays at 9:30 a.m. to work on the creation of
Chrismons for the annual "Hanging of the Greens." Anyone interested is
invited to help out with this project. If you have questions, please call
Beth Hoffman (339-0810), Rochelle Lutz (334-6462) or Millie Ryder
(642-9680). See you there!

The church is in need of greeters for November and December. Please take a moment to sign up on the Greeter Bulletin Chart outside the church office.  Your assistance is greatly appreciated.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Adams County is looking for a few "elves" would like to fill a stocking for the children in their program. They will provide the stocking and a list of fun present ideas for you to stuff in it. Stockings need to be returned by November 24th. For more information or to get a stocking, contact Laura Geesaman at 334-1138 or landt@pa.net.

Crafty Ladies invite you to visit their Christmas Craft display in the
Fellowship Hall after the worship service this morning. There are still
some items available for sale from the Snowflake Festival which would make
excellent gifts and holiday decorations.

Poinsettia order forms are in the hallway literature rack by the lounge.  Please feel free to take as many as you need. Orders and payment are due by Sunday, November 30.

The Sanctuary Bible Project is an ongoing project for the church. If you would like to purchase a Bible for the sanctuary, please complete an order form and return it to the church office. The order forms are located on the literature rack outside of the lounge/parlor. Thank you for your continued interest in this project.

Regular and large print Bibles are available at the back of the church for your use.
We invite you to use one to follow along in the reading of today's scripture.

Tape Ministry - Our members in nursing homes and those unable to get to church and now able to hear our Sunday services and feel a part of the church congregation. If you know of a shut-in and would like to take a tape to them, please call Ed and Charlotte Moore @ 334-1716. We owe David Schmidt a debt of gratitude for helping us in recording these tapes.

REMINDER: Please remember to call or e-mail the office by Tuesday prior to the Sunday you are sponsoring bulletins or altar flowers. Phone or mail reminders are no longer being issued - that information is now part of the newsletter. All announcements to be placed in the Weekly Vision must also be in the office by Tuesday.
