Opportunities for Ministry

 

REMEMBER! The photography dates for our pictorial directory are coming up.
If you haven't reserved your time to be photographed, be sure to do so today
while there is still a good selection. We're pushing for 100%
participation. It won't be complete without you!

A bus trip to Sight and Sound's "The Miracle of Christmas" has been planned for Friday, December 19, 2003. The cost is $50.00 per person for the bus and show. The bus must leave the church by 5:00 p.m. and will return around midnight. Call Deb Guiher at 337-1186 for more information or to sign up.

CRAFTY LADIES: After the Snowflake Festival, the Crafty Ladies will
continue to meet on Mondays at 9:30 a.m. to work on the creation of
Chrismons for the annual "Hanging of the Greens." Anyone interested is
invited to help out with this project. If you have questions, please call
Beth Hoffman (339-0810), Rochelle Lutz (334-6462) or Millie Ryder
(642-9680). See you there!

The Sanctuary Bible Project is an ongoing project for the church. If you would like to purchase a Bible for the sanctuary, please complete an order form and return it to the church office. The order forms are located on the literature rack outside of the lounge/parlor. Thank you for your continued interest in this project.

Regular and large print Bibles are available at the back of the church for your use.
We invite you to use one to follow along in the reading of today's scripture.

Zion UCC in Arendtsville is having its first annual Christmas Bazaar on
November 14th (8am - 8 pm) and November 15th (8am - 2pm). We will be
offering baked good, needlework, plants, crafts, and new or slightly used
books. The church is location in the center of Arendtsville. Come and join
in the fun. If you have questions, please call Barbara Spicer at 334-1874.

Tape Ministry - Our members in nursing homes and those unable to get to church and now able to hear our Sunday services and feel a part of the church congregation. If you know of a shut-in and would like to take a tape to them, please call Ed and Charlotte Moore @ 334-1716. We owe David Schmidt a debt of gratitude for helping us in recording these tapes.
